Farri Ouraie CEO / Founder
Farri co-founded SearchTech Solutions with Jon in 2002.
She has been a leader in recruiting engineers and executives
for Silicon Valley since 1987. She has developed an extensive
network of executives, VCs and industry luminaries in technology
which benefits the emerging technology companies with which she consults.
She is sought after to recruit for high profile positions. Prior to launching
SearchTech Solutions, Farri was EVP of Recruiting for Heuristics Search,
one of the largest software-recruiting practices in Silicon Valley where
she contributed to building and staffing early stage startups, which led
to successful IPO's. Farri led Heuristics Search's practice as the
company's top producer, consulting many well known companies in the Valley.
Farri received her BS and MS degree at Louisana State University.
Jon Christensen COO / Founder
Jon co-founded SearchTech Solutions with Farri in 2002. With a core
expertise in key hires for his clients, he focuses in both technology and
Supply Chain. He has been a guest speaker at industry events and has been
quoted in industry publications. He started his recruiting career in 1990
with Heuristics Search, the premier technology recruiting practice in Silicon Valley.
He went on to be consistently among the top producers for Heuristics. Prior to Heuristics,
Jon lived in Denmark and France where he split his time between being a software engineer
and a professional triathlete. Jon graduated from Pacific Lutheran University where he majored
in business and minored in computer science.
Mark Hartley Director Executive Recruiting Practice
Mark has extensive experience in executive recruiting and consulting for emerging technology and large public enterprises. Mark is the Director of The Executive Search Practice for SearchTech.
As an executive recruiter and consultant for early-stage private companies, Mark was instrumental in executing key executive searches & delivering his clients initial customers, establishing partnerships and structuring successful sales and marketing initiatives. Mark has placed the management teams for start-up companies as well as completed numerous searches for public corporations.
Mark has been a frequent guest speaker and forum participant in events supporting the growth of early stage organizations. Mark has also been an invited guest at the request of the New York City redevelopment Agency to speak with and advise new emerging technology companies.
Steve Vizena Director Consulting Services
Steve has been recruiting engineers and executives for Silicon Valley since 1985.
Steve joined SearchTech 2003. Prior to SearchTech, Steve worked for 4 years as an
independent consultant to staffing companies helping them grow and build their
staffs and markets. Steve was with Heuristics Search 12 years; Steve started
Heuristics Search's contract division. Prior to Heuristics Steve worked for
Apple computers in its early years 1978-1985. Steve was in the Corporate
Materials group overseeing the Peripherals Division, Steve’s duties included
Master Scheduling, Materials Control and Shop Floor Production Control for over
30 different products at Apple. While at Apple Steve received his APIC
certification and took numerous courses at Stanford for inventory and materials
and shop floor control, Steve was the Silicon Valley Chapter, President for
CAPC (Staffing Association) 1996, Vice President 1995, State Director 1995-1997
Greg Snoddy Director Recruiting Services
Greg has nearly 15 plus years of experience recruiting in Silicon Valley.
He has been part of the SearchTech Solutions team since 2002. He is focused on
developing and managing the permanent placement practice at SearchTech. Prior to
SearchTech Solutions he was part of the management team at Heuristics Search.
Greg’s earlier days were spent within Fortune 100 companies were he was
responsible for building recruiting programs throughout Northern California.
He has served on the employer advisory boards at San Jose State University,
Santa Clara University and San Francisco State University as well as being an
active member of SHRM. Greg has a degree in Economics and minor in Mathematics
from Sonoma State University.
